She’s So Cute and Tiny!

She came Wednesday as part of a trade I did. I didn’t realise how tiny these plushies were until I actually got her, she’s currently sitting by my laptop looking cute.

Let’s see…
Wednesday my brother and I saw Rango. I quite like the movie, especially from the standpoint of the graphics and effects of the film especially a lot of the scenery work. I would though say despite the PG rating it’s not a a ‘kids’ PG as it were so I’d be careful taking young kids to see this.

Also Dragon Age 2 came out yesterday. I’m pretty impressed by it, graphics wise the games taken a pretty big leap up. The combat system is vastly improved, there’s none of that shuffling you had to do in DA:O which is a plus. I’m generally enjoying it however I think I’ll always still be partial to DA:O mainly because of the characters from the first game. Time will tell but if you’ve been looking into the game I’d recommend it.

I had a ‘every collectors dream moment’ I think, although not quite a ‘here fill this box up for five quid’ I’d say two big plastic boxes with ’50 pence a pony’ is close enough…

My G2 collection has increased muchly now, they have both eyegems apart from Prince Clever Clover. I still need to ID the one with the crown/jester hat and the white one with the blue hair, her symbol is a bottle and heart
I found these two cuties for 75pence each

I found Bangles for 10 pence

A strange droopy eared and very large unicorn plush

And, I found where my local Asda was hiding the Dollymix, they were in the sweet aisle as opposed to the toy aisle. So say hello to Lickety Split and Powder

Wait… New Ponies?

That aren’t Core 7 or Big Headed G3.5’s?
Seems so, seems Hasbro are launching a new line soon that will be introducing 40 odd characters to the lineup. And it appears some G1’s will be coming back, including one of my all time faves. Applejack!
The newer stuff looks a bit anime like in style but I think it’s super cute and want to get my hands on an AJ toy/figurine.

This, is one of the characters I’m really hoping will be a good one, we always need more pegs, (and she’s not pink!)

Let’s just say, I’m rather excited about this new line, I hope it’s a good one!

Oh yeah, and I think at least on the Arena they’re thinking this new stuff will count as ‘G4’ as it’s a new style and it has new characters.
